Many people already know about French program allowing people to lease cars for multiple weeks, getting cheaper rates, full insurance, brand new cars and convenience of picking/dropping off a car at many locations.

What I was curious about is what company is listed as a credit card transaction originator, and more importantly what category it falls into.

Well, at least for Auto Europe there is good news – the transaction comes from AutoEurope itself (not from Peugeot for example), and it’s categorized as “travel”. With many credit cards offering 3x or more points for travel category, this is a welcome bonus.
